The top modern ski centre Tatranská Lomnica features 12 pistes with varying difficulty levels. You may enjoy sunny skiing at the highest situated and sharpest piste in Lomnicke saddleback (2190 above sea level). The elevation difference up to 1 300 m, 5-month snow guarantee, the top modern 15 -seat cabin cableway and widened pistes guarantee excellent experiences on the first class carving 6.5 kilometer long route with the width up to 60 m. Lomnicke saddleback will satisfy also freeriders and adrenaline lovers. In addition to that, the centre offers almost 6 km of pistes with a lower difficulty level that may be appreciated especially by families with children.

Štrbské Pleso offers 9 km of pistes and a modern snowpark. Thanks to easy routes, Starý Smokovec is ideal for small children and absolute beginners. In the High Tatras region, there are many opportunities also for cross-country skiing lovers. The Štrbské Pleso center offers several routes with varying difficulty levels with the total length of 25 km. Furthermore, you may enjoy jogging routes in Tatranská Lomnica, Starý Smokovec, and within foothills. Golf centre Black Stork in Veľká Lomnica is transformed in winter into several cross-country skiing routes with the total length exceeding 10 km.

Foothills

If you decide to try skiing and other winter sports outside High Tatras, you definitely must not miss Snowpark Lučivná that is situated in the village of Lučivná next to Svit, approximately 20 min away by car from our guest house. In Snowpark Lučivná you will find ideal conditions for family skiing for reasonable prices in the picturesque environment of the Podtatranský region with a beautiful panoramic view of High Tatras. The centre offers pistes for beginners and intermediate skiers and you may enjoy night skiing in Snowpark Lučivná. Children may learn how to ski with experienced and skilled instructors and later, they may enjoy snowtubing on wheels.

Hiking

In High Tatras there approximately 600 km of marked hiking routes that will lead you through valleys, to mountain chalets, and two thousand meters high peaks. Tatra cableways will take you up to show you the most beautiful views; the land station of the most famous one is situated only 5 minutes of walk from our guest house - a cableway will take you from Skalnaté pleso to the second highest peak of High Tatras - Lomnický Peak.

Mountain biking

Over 300 km well marked cycling routes will allow you to become familiar with the High Tatras region on two wheels. You may enjoy the routes crossing planes at the foothills, frequented routes leading up to the highest peaks of Tatras, and the cycling route making almost a full circle around High Tatras.

Water parks

In the water world below Tatras, in aquapark AquaCity Poprad, only 15 minutes away by car fromthe Snežienka Guest House, you will experience unique moments. Spice up your holidays or hiking trips with a visit to this unique park where you will find more than only relaxation in water. There are 13 indoor and outdoor thermal and relaxation pools, 50 m indoor swimming pool, fitness and spinning centre, sports centre for beach football and volleyball, sand beach with a beach bar, 6 water slides and more than 350 water attractions, hydromassage, bubble baths and water jets. This offer is complemented by Thai and relaxing massage, beauty centre, cryocentre, children corners, playgrounds, and new two-storey wellness centre.

Tatralandia is the largest water fun center open all year around with accommodation in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Poland. It is situated 50 minutes away by car from our guest house. During the summer season, both adults and children may have fun in 14 pools with sea, thermal, and sweet water. You definitely will not get bored and this thanks to 26 water slides and attractions in the Funpark, all-day program with the biggest animation team in Slovakia and various summer events. If it rains, we will meet you under the transparent roof of the Tropical Paradise where the water and air temperature does not drop below 30°C. But the end of summer does not mean the end of fun in Tatralandia. Throughout the year you may sunbath and have fun on 6 water slides, relax in 9 pools, enjoy beneficial effects of the thalasso therapy, regenerate your body in the Celtic Sauna World and find lost energy thanks to massage, packs, and baths in the Wellness Paradise.

It will take you 20 minutes by car to get from our guest house to Thermal Park Vrbov. Within the premises there are 10 pools, out of them 4 are intended for children. The water temperature in pools ranges between 26°C up to 38°C. The swimming pools are open all year round. Thermal mineral water positively affects locomotive organs and nervous system, airways and cardiovascular system.

Golf

The golf centre Black Stork in Veľká Lomnica is situated only 5 minutes away by car form our guest house on the southern side of High Tatras in ;the protected zone of the Tatra National Park. The golf course is unique thanks to extremely rich fauna and flora, specific Tatra climate, and unique views of the panorama of Tatra peaks, Belianske Tatras, and Kráľova hoľa.
Golf course Black Stork, A PGA Golf Course, is characterized as parklike and flat and all golf players holding the green card may play there in addition to the members of the Lomnický Golf Club for which the golf centre is the home.
The history of the Black Stork golf course dates back to 1999 when the local driving range was opened along with temporary club premises. Six years later, players were able to enjoy nine holes already and one year later, another nine holes were provided. In September 2007, next nine holes were created. Currently the golf centre features 27 hole golf course, driving range, chipping area, 2x putting green, 3 PAR Academy, professional golf instructors, golf equipment rental shop, golf equipment shop, and golf simulator.
